As we reflect on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the women who walked through our doors. These women arrived in Greece from different nations, carrying stories of hardship. They came seeking safety and a better life.

As we enter the Christmas season, my heart has been resting on the journey of Mary, the mother of Jesus. She was young, far from home, and carrying a child in circumstances filled with uncertainty. Yet in the middle of all that, she said yes. She trusted God’s leading, even when the path was unfamiliar.

I do not know about you, my friend, but I often find strength in looking back at the many things God has done and at the Bible verses He has spoken—words that carried me through places I never thought I would be able to walk.

I am reminded of why we began Creative Hands in the first place — to be a place where compassion meets creativity, and where faith is lived out through tangible acts of love.

I love this time of year as it reminds me through the flowers that are coming out that new life is being born right before our eyes and this year has been especially true as I have reflected on a lot of new that is taking place both in my personal life and the life of Creative Hands.

The women who have come through our doors are courageous, bold, and vulnerable and I know it is God’s grace upon each of us.

Sometimes I wonder what or how life would look like today had I not said yes to God’s prompting to learn how to weave..

Reflecting on 2024 at Creative Hands in Greece, I would like to share some exciting things that God has done!

This morning I thought I would try answering a question which I have been asked many times by people in different places.

We at Creative Hands are grateful to God for you. Thank you for standing with us as we grow and expand into the year 2025 and beyond.

The yarns that I have had to work with speak so well about our lives at Creative Hands. Each woman has different colors and strengths!

My time in the USA is coming to a close. I have been reflecting on what this trip has taught me.

God’s blessing means that all His goodness is given to us in order that we may bless others as well.

I have been thinking a lot about prayer and the power that is released when we begin to pray.

Meet our dearest Hebo, an overcomer and a woman of courage! We are grateful for Hebo’s determination to continue learning and not giving up!

I love change, I thrive on doing something new, engaging in teaching a new skill to someone!
