New Life is being Born

Dear friend and partner
I love this time of year as it reminds me through the flowers that are coming out that new life is being born right before our eyes and this year has been especially true as I have reflected on a lot of new that is taking place both in my personal life and the life of Creative Hands.
I have been spending quite a bit of time in the garden growing new things, pulling out weeds or watering what is already in the garden such as:
We have been growing onions and strawberries and other vegetables and each time I look at them and the different stages of their growth I have sensed in my heart that it pretty much sums up what is happening externally. In February we said goodbye to Renae who was my business partner at Creative Hands. I have known her for a number of years and she was a God sent when I needed a business partner during the forming days of Creative Hands. I am forever grateful to God that when everyone was concerned about the risk of starting a business during a pandemic she chose to trust God with and said yes and she proved to be a very valuable member of the team. But like everything else in our lives there is a season and a time for everything.
Renae and her family moved back to the USA so we had to find new business partners to step in and I am grateful that God provided Dustin and Michelle, a lovely couple that I have also known for a number of years. I like to say that it was just a formality to say they are now
business partners because since I met them, they have always been there to help at Creative
Hands and so we officially asked them to join the team and they have been a blessing. Dustin and Michelle bring a number of years’ experience in the work and the support they give us is truly invaluable and we are grateful. We will be sharing more about them as a couple.
We have grown once again at Creative Hands as we welcomed Rose from South Sudan to our team. We have shared briefly about her and we would like for you to know her and pray for her and her children. Rose came to us in December 2024 and started learning there and there and in March we officially hired her on a part-time basis and she is doing well. Rose is a single mother of two beautiful daughters who are in boarding school in Uganda where some of her family has settled. One of her greatest desires is that her daughters will get the best education that will enable them to chat a different path for their future and re-write the story of their family line. We have already seen God provide for Rose to help her daughters and we are grateful for that. We have two new women who are waiting to join our team once their paperwork has been done and your prayers for the two of them are appreciated.
I am currently in the USA traveling, fundraising and sharing with friends and churches, prayers for a successful trip are greatly appreciated. I have plenty of products to sell and am
believing God for miracles in this regard.
Thank you for standing with us.
Blessings and wishing you a greater summer,
Cecilia Sakatira
